This is a 3rd shift Product Auditor position at the Sanford, NC facility for with starting pay at $21.17 (includes 8% shift premium).

As a Product Auditor at Caterpillar Inc. you will perform various audit functions on Building Construction Products (BCP) components, systems and/or machines.* Compile daily inventory reports as well as system audits to reconcile the actual number of parts in the factory with system records

• Ensure that inventory is sufficient to meet build requirements and to communicate potential shortages to material planners
• Train new and develop existing employees.
• Liaison between team members and section managers.
• Follow standard operating procedures and area specific work instructions
• Validating and verifying inbound loads
• Identifying overages and shortages of materials

Basic Requirements:

• Prior forklift experience
• Prior logistics experience
• Intermediate Level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Top Candidates:

• Valid forklift license/certification
• Intermediate of proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) of Glovia
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Prior experience with receiving functions

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to perform repetitive operations
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
