Are you ready for the challenge of driving transformation at the scale of a $130B Fortune 50 company through an industry leading technology stack?

In this role, you will perform as a Techno-Functional Lead Analyst on one of several data domain focused product teams for Verizon’s Enterprise Planning Platform in Oracle EPM Cloud. You will operate as lead of a product team engaging with corresponding business product owners across Finance, Supply Chain, and Network to create consolidated and integrated financial and operational plans to improve forecast accuracy by leveraging driver, trend, and predictive planning methodologies.

You will lead cross functional teams which will be accountable for end to end vision/strategy through to delivery, value realization, and run support/governance – this role will require & have a need to continue to develop a deep knowledge for the respective data domain product and technical knowledge and capabilities for Oracle EPM.

Your work will focus on guiding the business to shape business processes, product vision & strategy, roadmap, and backlogs around key mission objectives delivering features from concept to launch through agile delivery methodologies, ensuring value realization, run governance, and support that delivers outstanding business results/user experience. This role will require experience in delivering extremely large and complex process transformation/system implementations including process design, functional design, technical / solution design, human-centered design, environment & deployment strategies, operational readiness, and change management across multiple functions spanning the SDLC lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this role will need to be equal parts business & technical analyst to be successful, with the ability to set rigorous technical/design standards whilst speaking the language of our business partners to influence positive outcomes for financial planning and forecasting capabilities. In the rapidly changing Verizon Corporate line of business, you will leverage your functional and Oracle EPM Cloud skills to accomplish the following:

• Defining & owning product strategy, vision and roadmap for financial planning capabilities in Oracle EPM for a particular product workstream.
• Applying your deep understanding of Oracle EPBCS as well as other applications such as Data Management/FMDEE, and Enterprise Data Management to support large-scale, complex planning projects, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Guiding and collaborating with the business stakeholders to understand the business process, data, and challenges, and partner with the business product owners on user story development.
• Lead product team in performing fit-gap analyses to identify which business needs can be met with Oracle EPM Cloud functionality.
• Performing Oracle EPBCS system configuration related to the functional design.
• Architecting designs are optimized both from a technical design perspective as well as the usability of the application.
• Lead product team in developing functional designs.
• Guiding developers to ensure the functional designs are correctly transformed into technical implementations.
• Guiding developers to ensure designs are supportable and adhere to technical design standards.
• Leading product team to perform functional testing to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements, design specifications, and user story acceptance criteria.
• Coordinating the implementation of solutions in a robust fashion to ensure the best business outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A bachelor's degree in Information Systems.
• Significant experience as an Oracle EPM Techno-Functional expert.
• Thorough knowledge of budgeting and forecasting-related Leading Practices.
• Significant experience writing functional specifications.
• Significant experience analyzing and documenting business requirements.
• Experience with financial statements, including income statements, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Experience with intercompany eliminations.
• Ability to innovate and find new ways to solve complex problems.
• Experience with product-based agile methodologies and value-driven delivery.
• Experience with Human-centered design principles.
• Strong communication skills.
• Leadership skills to professionally navigate obstacles, balance priorities, collaborate and work effectively on a virtual team.
