The 9th floor nursing unit at Euclid Hospital is a medical-surgical patient care unit inclusive of designated care for patients who have suffered from a stroke. As an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Euclid Hospital has met stringent national stroke care standards and offers some of the most complete, comprehensive stroke care.
Our dedicated nursing team cares for adult to geriatric patients with a wide range of medical-surgical diagnoses. We pride ourselves in care delivery that is centered on the ‘Colleagues in Care’ model of patient care, which embraces the concept of patient-centered, relationship-based care. With a collaborative approach to care, our multi-disciplinary team is comprised of registered nurses, certified nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, health unit coordinators, physicians, physical and occupational therapists, pharmacists, dieticians, social workers and more.
