This role is a blend of marketing, consulting, and analytics. The Manager is an integral part of the marketing effectiveness team tasked with developing insights that enable Verizon to improve how local marketing investments impact business results. You will work closely with marketing functions including media strategy, business units, digital CoE, financial planning & analysis, and external partners to proactively manage efforts from end to end. The end goal is to ensure strategic and tactical local marketing decisions are informed by data-driven insights.
Managing day-to-day local marketing effectiveness activities, such as data mining, analytics maintenance, interpretation of findings, delivery of insights, and coordination with stakeholders
Providing ongoing evaluation of local marketing efforts through analysis of integrated findings across Marketing Mix models, Experimental Design, and BI & Digital Analytics reports to derive insights and recommendations around investment reallocations to maximize business performance
Working with stakeholders to determine business needs and objectives, and then the Media Effectiveness team to design and complete analytical processes/solutions, in order to derive insights that can address stakeholders’ stated objectives
Developing both standardized and innovative mechanisms to encourage the adoption of analytics among stakeholder groups across the marketing spectrum, from planning to execution
Actively consulting stakeholders to validate, and update as needed, a defined local media effectiveness roadmap that outlines both short and long-term business priorities
Partnering with Advanced Analytics, Digital Analytics, Business Intelligence, and RTM teams on marketing and cross-functional efforts
Supporting the Director on Executive engagement materials and critical business needs
You will need to have:
Bachelor’s Degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience in marketing, consumer insights, strategy, or analytics.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Proven analytical skills reviewing quantitative data, market research, marketing mix modeling, and experimental design to identify trends, interpret findings, draft insights, and formulate recommendations
Knowledge of marketing principles and understanding of marketing strategy and mix to inform potential recommended actions
Creative thinking skills and can quickly adjust between strategy and execution as well as adapt to dynamic needs that may arise
The ability to successfully interpret complex analytical techniques and insights, as well as articulate implications of recommended decisions on business outcomes
Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
A degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics
Experience working effectively across organizational boundaries
Exceptional cross-functional experience within project management or change management teams
Consultative experience supporting either internal or external client groups
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to successfully build long-term relationships with internal and external partners
Experience making trade-offs to deliver effective solutions to business partners in a timely fashion
Focus on delivering accurate and timely results by overcoming obstacles through the development of mechanisms and tools to improve efficiencies

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $117,000.00 and $217,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.Full Time
