Your primary duties will include:
•Participating in inventory management and reagent handling, as well as other operational duties.
• Responsibility for specific laboratory specimens, orders and information disposition.
• Performing specimen investigation procedures to resolve lab specimen issues or problems.
• Performing general lab and quality assurance procedures. The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
• Is self-motivated, detail-oriented and double checks their work for accuracy.
• Works professionally in a team environment.
• Has an aptitude to learn the Microsoft Access database program.
• Is innovative in their ability to handle inventory processing and workflows.
•Demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills. This position is scheduled for seven 12-hour shifts in a two-week period (6am-6pm), totaling 84 hours in a two-week pay period.
The schedule is as follows:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
If a holiday falls on a day you are working, you are expected to work that day.
