Cleveland Clinic Main Campus’ H62/H63 Neurology Stepdown Unit provides top-quality patient care to diverse populations of neurological-medical-surgical patients. Caregivers in this unit care for young adult, adult, and geriatric patients with varying diagnoses of conditions, such as ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subdural hematomas, status epilepticus/seizures, brain tumors, neuromuscular disorders, and spinal injuries. Complex neurological procedures, such as intracranial pressure monitoring, seizure monitoring, lumbar punctures, and central/arterial line placement, are commonly done in this unit. As a Clinical Technician, you will be assisting our Registered Nurses with direct patient care activities such as taking vital signs, patient transfers, and dressing changes.
