From the exceptional service at the check-in counter to the departure gate, and even behind the scenes making sure your checked bags arrive with you, our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for initiating and providing support for hub specific capital projects needed by Airport Operations
Supports hub finance team with month end close, reporting, invoice processing, cash management and contract compliance functions
Initiating requests for capital projects, providing supporting documents and tracking ideas/projects to ensure projects approval
Developing and updating station Capital Plan in coordination with station leadership, CRE and CSC Finance
Developing and updating station budget and forecast, completing financial month end close, completing and explaining variances to plan and forecast
Ensure timely ordering and receipt of all office and passenger supplies for ORD AO
Ensure station complies with Internal Audit requirements for cash management, contracts, invoice payment
Develops, leverages, and implements best practices processes and technology to improve service to internal customers and enhance productivity
Responsible for Airport Operations badging process at ORD; primary point person for the City of Chicago airport badging and it's satellite office in Terminal One
Supervisor over LOB (Left On Board) reuniting lost items left at airport or on aircraft with external and internal customers
Must be able to carry and deliver customer and company items medium to long distances through airport terminals
Other duties may be assigned from time to time

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Finance or Business concentration
2 years' experience in financial planning
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree
Prior experience managing employees in a hub preferred
Hyperion, Plan Plus, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) knowledge preferred
