Our client a leading Manufacturing Company in the Wilkes-Barre Area seeks an experienced Bi-Lingual Production Supervisor for the Day Shift. This individual will be responsible for managing the daily manufacturing activities in a manner that promotes the companies objectives including directing all department associates on their shift, all expenses with labor cost, including overtime, as it relates to volume, and maintaining positive work relationships. This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinates manning requirements (vacations, sick, no shows, etc.).
• Responsible for training/safety.
• Responsible for shift out-put and performance.
• Resolves quality issues and processes.
• Initiates disciplinary procedures.
• Evaluates employee performance.
• Facilitates team working.
• Embraces and implements lean concepts.
• Works to improve machine efficiencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Advanced knowledge of functionalities and capabilities of manufacturing functions.
• Lean manufacturing experience is beneficial.
• Bi-Lingual - Spanish
