SALARY:: $15.00 Hourly

NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK: :32 HOURS PER WEEK INTERN DUTIES/PROJECTS:
Oneida Youth Council Project
Research and assist the OBC in creating an Oneida Youth Council – 25%
Listing of Oneida Nation Resources Project
Assist in creating a listing of Oneida Nation Resources for surrounding area School systems – 25%
Oneida Civics Development
Assist in creating curriculum for Oneida Nation Civics material – 25%
Assist the Vice-Chair and the Government Relations Specialist with creating a listing of Governments, local, tribal, and nationwide. – 25%
Accompany the Vice-Chairs office in Oneida Business Committee meetings and community outreach.
Adhere to all Tribal Personnel Policies and Procedures, Tribal Standard Operating Procedures, and Area and Program Strategic Plans and Policies.

COLLEGE MAJOR:
Major: Business Management, Administration, Communication, Project Management or closely related field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level.
A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:
Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters. (Must sign a confidentiality statement prior to employment.):
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must adhere to the Nation’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy during the course of employment.
Must pass a background security check with the Oneida Nation in order to meet the Employment Eligibility Requirements, Tribal/State Compact and/or Oneida Nation Gaming Ordinance as they pertain to the position. A temporary license or Gaming License issued by the Oneida Gaming Commission is required as a condition of employment and continuing employment within the Oneida Nation’s Gaming Division.
