Job SummaryAs a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be central to our operations by being an integral part of the procurement, inventory, and distribution processes.
Responsibilities
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies
- Collaborates and communicates with supply chain technicians, procurement representatives and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
- Liaises with Finance Department on all matters related to inventory and supply chain
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments using an ERP system
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables
- Engages with vendors and delivery operators as necessary
- Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments
- 2 years inventory/supply chain experience
- Experience using ERP software systems
- Experience interacting with other professionals - engineers, tradespeople, finance etc.
- Experience using the Google software suit
- Have a growth mindset
- Be self-motivated
- Have effective organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Able to take and receive instruction
- Have the physical ability to perform manual labor, which may include:
- Climbing
- Bending
- Repetitive motions
- Standing for long periods
- Lift up to 45 lbs.
