Welcome to OneEighty a safe place, a source of hope and new direction. We’re a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in and around Wayne and Holmes counties in Ohio. We provide comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health and behavioral health services and operate multiple care facilities throughout our service areas.

OneEighty is seeking to hire a full-time Director of Housing and Homelessness Services to oversee all aspects of the Housing and Homeless Outreach programs of OneEighty. The position will work with the OneEighty team to create program goals of engaging, assessing, enrolling, and navigating services for people experiencing homelessness or those who are house and need support to maintain their housing, with a special focus on outreach to chronically homeless individuals sleeping in places not mean to habitation.

Here’s what you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field. Previous experience working in homeless services is required. Previous experience working in the mental/behavioral health and/or substance abuse field is required. Previous grant management is required.
  • May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty.
  • If in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.
  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty’s vehicle insurance. Must have own personal vehicle. Local travel required.
  • Must be certified in CPR/First Aid or able to attain certification.
  • Must be trained in administering Narcan.
  • Must submit to yearly TB Testing.
  • Above average computer skills include being proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), collaborations platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral).
  • Must possess a passion for connecting with people experiencing chronic homelessness who are often service resistant.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Leadership, strategic thinking, and presentation skills required; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to problem solve; possess excellent time management; strong analytical skills with attention to detail; teamwork and project management.
  • Ability to be flexible and adept at creative problem-solving and manage crises.

Work Schedule: Full-time, exempt, salaried position. Most work will take place during normal business hours (8am-5pm) but will also include some evening, early morning and occasionally, weekend hours. There is some flexibility in start-and-end time and work-from-home days. Benefits as defined by the Board of Trustees and outlined in the Personnel Policy Manual.

Immediate Supervisor: Executive Director

Subordinates: Supportive Services Coordinator, Housing Case Manager, Housing Retention Case Manager, Outreach Housing Case Manager, Supportive Services Grant Management & Data Specialist

Pay Range: Starting pay $60,000.Commensurate with education and experience.
