Summary:
As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in executing the company's Azure Cloud strategy. Reporting to the Director of IT Technology Operations, your responsibilities will involve developing, implementing, and overseeing Azure-based solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the resilience, security, and optimal performance of our Azure and on-premises infrastructure. Leveraging your deep knowledge of Azure services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, industry-leading cloud practices, and M&A experience, you will lead our cloud technology processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess existing on-premises infrastructure to determine suitability for cloud migration.
• Develop comprehensive migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Execute cloud migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Design hybrid connectivity between on-site systems and cloud environments.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and performance.
• Implement security best practices, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support.
• Participate in post-migration reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement Azure-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with other teams to design and optimize Azure infrastructure.
• Oversee the resilience, security, and performance of Azure environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for efficient deployment and management.
• Participate in architecture reviews and recommend improvements.
• Leverage your M&A experience to assess and integrate cloud infrastructure during acquisitions. Understand the unique challenges of merging IT systems and ensure smooth transitions.
• Stay abreast of Azure updates, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure architecture.
• Proficiency in Azure infrastructure, networking, storage, application services, and Azure DevOps.
• Azure certifications preferred.
• Proven experience in M&A scenarios, including cloud infrastructure assessment and integration.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning experience, a plus

Education, Training and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud migration projects.
• At least 3 years of specific, hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure architecture, design, and delivery.
• 10 years of experience managing large-scale, production Windows environments

Location:

• Must adhere to the hybrid work schedule - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office from 9-5 ET, in our Atlanta, GA headquarters office. This is mandatory.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
