*Hourly rate $23 /hour, based on experience

*Full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 5:00 pm, and a minimum of two Saturdays per month, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm

*Part-time schedule is Thursdays and Fridays, 8:15am-5:00pm, and Saturdays 8:30am-12:15pm.

Walpole Co-operative Bankis seeking a full-time and part-time Universal Banker, responsible for effectively performing customer service and teller functions in a courteous and professional manner. The Universal Banker will perform all tasks in compliance with established Bank policies and procedures, with federal and state laws and with all fair lending regulations.

Universal BankerEducation, Experience, and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of tellerandcustomer serviceexperience,andknowledge of bank services and productspreferred
• Excellentcommunicationand sales skills
• Abilityto provide high quality customer-service is extremely important
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to adapt to changing job requirements

Universal BankerJob Responsibilities

• Answercustomerquestions, explainand openbank accounts,identifyappropriate bank productsand services, accuratelyand efficiently completeaccount documentation and obtainproper authorizations, and providecustomers with disclosures and product brochures
• Processcustomer transactions,providecustomers withaccountinformation, cash disbursement, check cashing, and cash drawer balancing
• Adhereto bank policies and procedures and performfunctions in compliance with all rules and regulations; updatesecurity and regulatory information through regular training
• Respondtotelephone inquiriesandcustomerissuesin an efficient and timely manner
• Proactiveawarenessofupdatedbank products and services
• Administersafe deposit box access, preparecustomer correspondence,intake of loan applications, and review offraudulent debit cardtransactions
• Performrelated branch and clerical support functions as assigned
