BI Developer | About You

As a Power BI Developer, you are doing hands-to-keyboard development, building integrated reports and dashboards to visualize data to satisfy the needs across various lines of business. Skilled with at least one modern BI tool, you have a strong desire to gain access to industry-leading platforms. You are comfortable operating in a tool-agnostic capacity, using your broad BI knowledge and core SQL skills to learn new tools with ease. You are interested in being surrounded by a team of best-in-class Data Consultants to build new skills and absorb hands-on training at every turn.
ONEBRIDGE | OUR CULTURE

BI Developer | Day-to-Day

  • Under the direction of a Solution Architect or Analytics Architect, you will develop technical solutions aligning with business and client objectives.
  • Design, develop, and test databases, data warehouses, data lakes, queries and views, reports, and dashboards.
  • Merge BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.
  • Hands to keyboard dashboard and report development.

BI Developer | Skills & Experience

  • 5 years of professional experience working in a technical role with progressive experience and skills working with data, and the last 2 years focused as a BI Developer as your primary job function.
  • MSBI Stack: SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and some T-SQL.
  • Experienced tuning SQL statements, Stored Procedures, SSIS, Power Query, and DAX.
  • Migrated data from multiple legacy systems to a modern reporting tool.
  • Skilled in deploying solutions using BI Development Best Practices.
  • A conceptual understanding of user-centric design techniques for building best-in-class dashboards, and the desire to grow knowledge around best practices.
  • Proficiency with at least one leading BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, or Alteryx, and ideally, you have worked with at least two modern BI tools.
  • Public or shareable work samples to showcase skills highly desired.
