ONE WAY WIRELESS CONSTRUCTION INC is Hiring an Electrical Apprentice Near Shakopee, MN

Description

As leaders in the construction of cellular telecommunications infrastructures, One Way Wireless Construction, Inc. is viewed as a one-stop contractor where our expertise in installing, testing, and maintaining makes us the reliable and highly tenured team where we are chosen again and again by our cellular and other industry-related customers. 

We are seeking to hire a full-time Electrical Apprentice to help with crews working on the construction, installation, and maintenance of communication towers and support structures. This Position is located in Shakopee, Minnesota. 

The Electrical Apprentice reports directly to the Electrical Project Manager.

Per Diem $150.00 / per night for work travel.

Requirements

  • Electrical apprentice experience of 2 plus years preferred, but willing to train the right individual 
  • Ability to sufficiently communicate with individuals at all levels within the company 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Minnesota State driver license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends/flexible schedules if needed 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Professional attitude and appearance with a strong work ethic
  • Interact appropriately with co-workers and supervisors in a professional manner that contributes positively to the team environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
  • Be physically able to kneel, stoop shoveling, and crawling 
  • Be able to spend significant time standing and walking on construction sites
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel and potentially be out week at a time 
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus
