Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will work closely with our physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support. Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Assist with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physical therapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is beneficial
-Familiarity with acute care practices is a plus
- Excellent patient service skills, including empathy, compassion, and effective communication
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
