Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and caring Sitters to provide exceptional 1 on 1 care services for families in need. As a Sitter/Companion, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of consumers under your care. This is a paid position with flexible hours.

Duties:

- Provide direct support and supervision to clients in a safe and nurturing environment

- Engage client activities, such as reading, arts and crafts.

- Prepare meals and snacks for clients, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or allergies.

- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the clients.

- Ensure adherence to resident rights and privacy regulations

- Follow established protocols for maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

- Provide compassionate care for clients with special needs, including working with children/adults on the autism spectrum or those requiring hospice care

- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary

Requirements:

- Previous experience in caregiving is preferred

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children and adults

- Ability to adapt to different household routines

- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
