Food Service Worker
Entry level food service position, full or part time

The Food Service Worker is an essential position in our food service department that is responsible for providing our guests with quality food products. The FSW will be preparing sandwiches and other items to order and in bulk. You will also greet guests and answer any questions they may have about our menu. This position requires a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and will require learning and maintaining proper food safety procedures. The FSW will prepare food to our standardized recipes and in accordance with the guest’s order and assist the Kitchen Supervisor with our salad bar operation
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Full knowledge of proper sanitation, food safety and security procedures
Full knowledge menu items and presentations
Demonstrate excellent listening skills
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to assist guests, fellow team members and management
Strong skills in time management and organization, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to read and take direction and execute objectives with an attitude of courtesy and cooperation
Math skills to complete recipes and par work sheets accurately
Analytical skills and a degree of emotional intelligence to recognize and solve problems
Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
Must be reliable and dependable by being punctual, adhering to a schedule
Maintain positive working relationships with all Team Members and Managers
The physical ability to stand, use hands, stoop, kneel or crouch, and lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds
ServSafe certification desired, but may be obtained after hire
