The High School Girls Coordinator will strive to build a dynamic, relevant, biblically based environment for students in 9th-12thgrade. The H.S. Girls Coordinator serves as a spiritual leader and role model. They will act as the direct leader of High School Ministry and oversight for Middle School Ministry. This leadership includes helping cast vision and direction, while evaluating and improving all elements of these ministries on an ongoing basis. A crucial part of this role will include recruiting, training and encouraging volunteer student leaders from the One Community Church congregation.
Ministerial
Plan and administer student activities that promote spiritual growth, Christian values, Christian fellowship, Bible study and family enrichment.
Lead student small groups and provide a biblical-based and relevant curriculum.
Provide training and opportunities for students to discover and develop their spiritual gifts, encouraging them to utilize these gifts in the service of Christ’s Body.
Attend extracurricular events that students are involved in to provide additional support.
Serve as a mentor for students and be a strong Christian role model for students to follow.
Take an active role in getting to know students and create a trusting environment where students feel comfortable.
Provide support to the Middle School Ministry as needed.
Overseeing the 10th Grade Small Group Leaders
Building intentional relationships with the students.
Administrative
Plan and implement student programming.
Manage all volunteers and ministry leaders.
Establish and maintain routine communications with parents.
Assist with the programming and flow of service.
Attend all Wednesday and weekend services.
Leadership
Develop adult small group leader training.
Recruit, equip and retain effective volunteers and small group leaders
Develop student leaders to lead the ministry.
Follow regular practice for equipping self spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Pursue personal spiritual growth through private devotional time.
Maintain, as a priority, a right relationship with God and family.
Attend all leadership meetings and worship services on a regular basis.
Disciple high school girls in groups outside of regular Wednesday and weekend programming.
Be willing to perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor
High School Diploma Required
College Degree Preferred
At least 2 years of Ministry Experience Required
Prior experience working with students preferred
Seminary preferred
Knowledge of key Biblical principles and how to leverage those in position.
Ability to teach and lead others.
Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Patience and commitment to leading, growing and teaching students.
Ability to think creatively, remember, communicate clearly in written and verbal language
