Position Description:

Oncorus is seeking an experienced manager to help build the Supply Chain team at our new facility in Andover, Ma. This person will be responsible for the design and implementation of both cGMP purchasing and materials management processes at the Oncorus Andover facility. This will include setting up and overseeing the day-to-day operations in a cGMP compliant warehouse space, implementation of a digital materials management system, writing SOPs, and coordinating the supply of raw materials for manufacture. This person will also have a role in the hiring and management of additional members of the supply chain team. Additionally, this person will function as a supply chain representative in cross functional teams focused on the successful start-up of the Oncorus Andover manufacturing facility as well as ongoing manufacturing activities. Reporting to the Associate Director of Technical Operations/Supply Chain, this person will engage with management, strategic partners, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of our supply chain team in supporting Oncorus in achieving our strategic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set-up and manage a cGMP warehouse
• Implement and maintain a digital material management system
• Purchase and coordinate the supply of raw materials to support cGMP manufacturing at our Andover facility
• Participate in weekly cross functional meetings focused on site and manufacturing readiness
• Collaborate with quality assurance to write and implement cGMP SOPs and forms

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 6-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology supply chain
• Experience using a digital manufacturing execution system (Syncaid preferred)
• Familiarity with cGMP best practices with a particular focus on warehouse management, purchasing, and logistics
• A demonstrated history of delivering results on tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a talent for relationship building
• Solid judgement and decision making under pressure
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Documented success in fast paced fluid environments
