This person would have mixed responsibilities, including duties in the office (25%) and classroom (75%). Once Upon a Childcare is seeking an experienced Assistant Director who has a true passion for the ECE field. As an Early Childhood Education Director, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our childcare center and maintaining our "one-of-a-kind" program. It is your responsibility to ensure a safe and educational environment for all children in care, manage and mentor teaching staff, oversee the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, greet and communicate with parents, adhere to all licensing rules and regulations, and uphold the centers sterling reputation. We are looking for an individual who is eager to maintain a positive, efficient work environment and create long-lasting relationships with parents and staff! Skills and Experience:
Experience working in a licensed childcare facility
Director qualified in the state of Colorado
Knowledge of the PDIS Colorado Shines platform and credentialing system
Familiarity with Licensing and Health Department guidelines for childcare centers
Excellent communication skills
Certification in child CPR or willingness to obtain
