Retail Assistant Manager

Duties:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store runs smoothly
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Train and develop sales associates to improve their product knowledge and sales skills
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store manager to ensure adequate stock availability
- Handle cash transactions, including opening and closing registers, and ensure accuracy in cash handling
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales transactions and maintain accurate records
- Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
- Support the store manager in implementing marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement

Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of the market and trends in wireless sales
- Multilingual skills are a plus, as it will enable effective communication with diverse customers
- Proven ability in training and development of employees to enhance their skills and performance
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for effective communication with a diverse customer base
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers, employees, and management

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
