To contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling and helping manage the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organized manner.
Help promote the brand image of both the product and the store. Positively impact the customer experience by maintaining visual standards by keeping the store and back room organized. MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Putting Products on Shelves: You'll make sure the products get to the sales area and storage room on time. The shelves in the store should always have the right things for customers to buy.
Keeping Track of Inventory: You'll use tools to write down and check how much of each product we have, both new and used. You'll also help keep the storage area neat so we can find things easily. Sometimes, we'll count everything in the store to make sure we know what we have.
Making the Store Look Nice: You'll help set up how the store looks, following the rules for displaying products. You'll also keep everything clean and organized. It's important that products are easy for customers to find and look good on the shelves.
Helping with Special Events: When there are special sales or events, you'll be part of the team that changes how the store looks to match the occasion.
Checking Shipments: When new products come in, you'll make sure everything is there and in good condition. You'll keep records of what we order, what's damaged, and if anything is missing.
Other Things: Sometimes, you might be asked to do other tasks to help out.
Having Fun: Most importantly, we want you to have fun while working!
Requirements:
Experience: It's great if you've worked in a store before, but we can teach you if you haven't. We also like if you've done something similar to this before.
Organization: You need to be good at keeping things in order and paying attention to details.
Team Player: You should be good at working with others, listening to advice, and doing what you're told.
Time Management: You should be good at managing your time and doing more than one thing at a time.
Communication Skills: You need to be good at talking with others and managing yourself.
Physical Requirements:
Moving Around: You'll be standing and walking a lot, up to 8 hours a day.
Lifting: You might need to lift up to 40 pounds. If it's heavier, you can use a helper or a cart.
Bending and Reaching: You'll be moving around a lot, bending, rotating, and reaching to do your job.
Retail Environment: It can be a bit noisy, and you'll be using a computer.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $157.50 per day
Expected hours: 28 – 38 per week
