Once Upon A Child in Rosenberg, TX is looking for one store manager to join our team. We're looking for highly motivated, sales-oriented, experienced leader to take our growing business to the next level. We are located on 2320 B F Terry Blvd Ste 500, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
Responsibilities

- Meet or exceed financial goals, focusing on sales and overall profitability.
- Drive sales through the development of staff; focusing on coaching, training, and role modeling desired behaviors.
- Able to operate a computerized sales terminal
- Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards on a daily basis.
- Recruit, hire, train employees and monitor operations to ensure customers expectations are exceeded
- Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
- Resolve conflicts that may arise from customers or employees in a professional manner
- Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required. 4 year degree in Business or Retail Management preferred.
- Proven experience as a store manager, at least 2yrs
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Able to work 40-50 hours a week, with Sundays off
- Must be computer literate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.
- Lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance. May involve heavier lifting with assistance of team member or cart/dolly.
- Bending, rotating, and reaching customary to a retail environment; including receiving, pricing, and stocking/back stocking merchandise.
- Exposure to typical retail environment conditions and noise levels.
- Able to operate a computerized sales terminal
