On Time Staffing is seeking Maintenance Technicians in Seneca, SC!

Starting pay rate : $33.16-$39.63 per hour

Shift Times :

7pm-7 : 30am

Job Description :

• Perform complex periodic maintenance on automated and other production systems and equipment using knowledge of solid state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, computers, etc.
• Troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, inspect, and test a variety of production systems and equipment.
• Perform equipment failure analysis and preventive maintenance
• Work with the engineering staff and outside vendors regarding equipment installation, upgrades, and parts.
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. - Preferred
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricate and repair counters, benches, guarding and other structures.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines (electrical / mechanical)- Preferred
• Knowledge of robotics, robotic controls, and vision systems Preferred
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements :

• Stand for long periods of time including during operation of stand up lifts.
• Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Working in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Repetitive motion activities including but not limited to box cutting, standing, lifting, loading / unloading carts.
• All employees are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with the safety policies and procedures
• Associates degree from a 2-year college or 5 years related experience and / or training in a machine shop field
