About the position:Our client is looking for someone who will promote and develop our students in the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and linguistic growth. You will ensure learning environments are nurturing spaces that support the development of our students by providing responsive care giving in a well-organized and managed environment. You will provide an educational foundation that will focus on building strong relationships and school readiness. As our Infant & Toddler Teacher, you'll be a self-motivated person who is dedicated to the well-being of infants and toddlers. You'll have a personality that is personable, energetic, and empathetic with a passion to support our clients, families, and the infants and toddlers we are supporting.
We're currently recruiting for this role in New Rochelle.
Main Responsibilities: (Additional day-to-day tasks will be discussed during the interview process.)
Provide a learning environment that involves teaching and promotional growth for our infants and toddlers
Establish and maintain a healthy and safe indoor/outdoor environment, (which includes: conducting daily playground health and safety monitoring, Setting up and cleaning up the playground daily, and detecting/ reporting any signs of illness, discomfort, or unusual behavior)
Follow policy and procedure protocol that comply with Child Health and Safety Incidents and mandated reporting of any suspected child abuse/neglect per New York State
Maintain classrooms, storage areas, and office spaces are neat and clutter free
Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
Create a pleasant, inviting atmosphere
Attend trainings, meetings, and events
Implement curriculum and a teaching experience for infants and toddlers
Ensure a nurturing environment that will maximized social and emotional development
Maintain data management system requirements for document and tracking
Provide an atmosphere that promotes and reinforces parental engagement, including modeling appropriate behavior and positive guidance techniques
Assist with food service

Requirements
Child Development Associate (CDA) credentialed in Infant and Toddler (current) or
Associate Degree and/or other qualifying education in Child Development, Early childhood Education, or similar work experience
Basic computer skills
Must have a valid Driver’s License, Personal Vehicle and Liability Insurance required. In states in which public transportation is utilized, a valid state ID is required
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Available to work in the Bronx with some travel to New Rochelle or vise versa
