Job Duties:

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations
• Analyze financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Perform testing as outlined in audit programs
• Identify areas for improvement in financial management practices
• Develop audit reports with recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with management to implement audit findings and enhance processes
• Stay up-to-date on GAAP, regulatory changes and industry best practices

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years experience working in public accounting or internal audit (open to new grads with Master's degree!)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree strongly preferred
• Ideal candidate will be pursuing CPA, CIA, or other relevant certification
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards (GAAS)
• Experience in financial auditing, risk management, regulatory reporting, and public accounting
• Ability to analyze complex financial concepts and data effectively

Pay: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
