We are looking for a part time/contract Ultrasound Technician to join our team. Candidates who are ONLY interested in full time work, please do not apply. You will need a flexible schedule, where you can work Monday-Friday one week, and then have a week or two off.
On Duty Health is an occupational health provider conducting on-location health assessments for firefighters and law enforcement.
Qualified candidates will have experience conducting and interpreting the following scans, designed for early cancer detection and other issues:
With our health assessment team (a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, and an Exercise Physiologist), you will travel to various locations throughout California (and possibly some to Texas) to conduct these exams at the fire departments or police stations. Travel expenses, including lodging, mileage, and daily per diem for meals, is reimbursable.
You will see /-10 clients a day with about 45 minutes for each.
Our ideal candidate will be someone with extensive knowledge of sonography, confident in conducting the above tests, and a team player who enjoys traveling with a vibrant/warm personality.
