Shift Requirements:
Flexibility to work during the day, night, and weekends is essential. Initially, this position will involve 12-hour shifts. While starting on a PRN basis, there's potential for this role to evolve into a full-time opportunity.
Role Overview:
We are searching for California-licensed Nurse Practitioners dedicated to providing virtual patient care characterized by empathy and a deep sense of compassion. This role will offer the chance to obtain licensure in additional states, with support provided by OnDemand Visit. This position is designed for clinical care professional's adept at delivering medical services through telemedicine, including video consultations, phone calls, connected devices, and asynchronous communication such as chat and email. The focus is on managing common conditions typically seen in episodic, acute, managed care, or primary care settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A strong commitment to ethical principles and integrity.
  • National certification in family practice from ANCC, AANP, or another nationally recognized body.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in family practice, primary care, or urgent care.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license for California, with support provided for licensure in additional states.
  • Competency in engaging with senior-level staff.
  • Capable of working efficiently with minimal oversight and exercising sound judgment.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously with precision.
  • Professional and effective communication skills with patients, their families, and the public, reflecting positively on the organization.
  • A level of competence that aligns with delivering superior patient care.
  • While not required, a background as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic is advantageous.
