The Medical Courier/Scanner is responsible for the pickup of mail and documents from provider offices and the post office as well as scanning documentation and correspondence into the company file storage system. They are also responsible for document shredding and organization.

Primary Responsibilities/Skillsets

• Load all necessary documents for delivery to client
• Complete daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Retrieve all mail from designated PO Boxes
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickup, including time stamps, signatures, and any relevant notes.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Ensure the company vehicle is in good working order, perform routine checks, and report any maintenance needs.
• Interact professionally with healthcare staff and clients, providing excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Scan correspondence and batches received from mail and provider offices.
• Storage of scanned batches prior to shredding
• Schedule shredding

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years' old
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Very punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous driver/courier experience is preferred
