OMS Group, LLC. is Hiring a GIS Mapping Analyst Near SACRAMENTO, CA

OMS Field Services is looking for a GIS Mapping Analyst to work in our clients Vegetation Management program. This position will Compile, manipulate, and analyze geospatial data. Business conduct must occur in accordance with OMS policies and procedures and be aligned with the goals of OMS and our client.
Essential Functions:

Design, develop, and maintain databases and systems of GIS data.
Create reports, maps, applications, and visualizations conveying the results of spatial analyses.
Utilizes scripting languages to refine GIS data pipelines and processes.
Provide GIS training or assistance to other organization members.
Other duties as assigned by OMS or the client.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Forestry related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Two years job-related experience (i.e., Utility Tree Crew).
OSHA 30 Hour Certification.
Required to maintain a Class C driver’s license, including participating in Employer Pull Notice Program (EPN), with DMV.
Conduct a background check, drug screening, and health exam.
Approval by Client Representative.

Working Conditions: Environmental Factors: Indoor and outdoor conditions; exposure to heat, cold, potentially hazardous chemicals, toxic materials; work on/walk on slippery or uneven and potentially mountainous terrain. Noise level is usually moderate. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to perform tasks during a typical 8 hour workday.
