This is a PRN position for Registered Nurses looking to pick up some extra work.

OMS Consulting is a traveling oral surgery company, and we perform extractions (usually wisdom teeth) in dental clinics across 11 states. An average clinic would host our team for an oral surgery day once per month, but it can be more or less frequent depending on the volume at that clinic. In Pennsylvania, we are working on starting 5 new clinics in ~March 2024. The clinics are located in Bethlehem (2), Reading, Harrisburg, and Hazleton and will probably be scheduled on 5 consecutive days once per month. We would prefer RNs who are willing to travel between those locations, but it's not required. We cover travel expenses, including drive time and mileage/wear and tear.

We expect all nurses to work at least one shift each month, and we ask you to try to make accommodations to be available on the day(s) we are working in your area. Generally, we schedule 3 months in advance, so you have time to make arrangements. Shift hours are typically 7:30am-4pm.

Pay is $50/hour plus travel expenses if applicable.

Requirements:
- RN license
- BLS certification

-ACLS certification

Nurses need to be proficient in IV starts and patient monitoring. Nurses also need to be able be able to work quickly and multi-task. Experience in the following departments are preferred, but not required: Emergency Department, Pre-op/Post-op, L&D, Day Surgery, IV team.

We will likely ask any qualified applicants to travel for training to another state, likely in the Southeast US. We will pay you for this training day and cover all travel expenses. The purpose of this training is to have local assistants ready to go in Pennsylvania when we are ready to start in a few months.
