Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and systems, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management and possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment history
- Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and minimize downtime
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and new technologies
Experience:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance department
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices
- Proficiency in low voltage electrical systems, logic controllers, HVAC systems, and high voltage equipment
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
