PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & TASKS:
Enter receiving into the computer accurately
Check packing slip for proper purchase number and quantity shipped.
Maintain receiving appointment book to schedule deliveries.
Talk to vendors/carriers and set-up appointment time and day. c
Check all metal received (packing slip) for proper P.O number and calculates weight being received.
Create metal tally sheet
Enter coil information correctly into the computer system so that the correct coil tags are created.
If items are returned, need to write up returned by who, why, what and how the product came back so that the customer can receive the proper credit.
QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform this job successfully.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma/ GED
EXPERIENCE: Six (6) months
SKILLS:
Mathematically inclined. Must know ordinary arithmetic.
PC skills for data entry and communication
Telephone skills.
Good human relation skills.
