Job Description
We are currently seeking a Revenue Specialist responsible for the daily accounts payable processing function, including processing invoices for payment, matching invoices to purchase orders, resolving discrepancies, processing payments via Automated Clearing House (ACH) and checks, reconciling weekly check runs, communicating with vendors as needed, and creating and maintaining accurate payables records. Other responsibilities include verifying purchasing procedures such as accounting code reviews, signatory guidelines, and purchase order accuracy. The position is a full-time in-office position in our Franklin, TN headquarters and office hours are generally 8 am – 5 pm.
Summary of Responsibilities

• Process individual accounts payable invoices, including reviews general ledger coding for accuracy.
• Verify purchasing procedures such as signatory guidelines, matching and purchase order accuracy.
• Process accounts payable payments via ACH and checks.
• Process check voids in Accounts Payable system.
• Bookkeeping entries in accounting software including accounts payable
• Track revenues by verifying and entering transactions
• Maintain precise records of all incoming payments
• Reconcile any irregularities in receipts
• Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements
• Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and credit card expenditures
• Maintaining records and important files (e.g., downloading bank statements, copies of checks, invoices, documentation, reports, etc.) to ensure the availability and accessibility of documentation and third-party reports.
• Answering questions from vendors and clients
• Processing electronic bill payments
• Maintaining vendor files
• Maintaining W-9s and preparing 1099s
• Reconciling vendor statements, including researching and correcting discrepancies
• Assisting in month-end closing
• Maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist with coordination of audits and exams.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.

• Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Sage Intacct or similar accounting software experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Accuracy and efficiency in data entry required.
• Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks.
