Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various types of pipes and pipe systems. This is a vital role in our organization as you will play a key part in ensuring the proper functioning of our plumbing and piping systems.

Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine pipe specifications and layout
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machinery
- Weld or solder pipes together using various techniques
- Install and secure pipes in position using brackets, clamps, or welding equipment
- Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functionality of pipe systems
- Repair or replace damaged pipes or fittings as needed
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and materials
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with pipe systems
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand the workings of plumbing systems

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant certification or apprenticeship program completion is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
