Our lunch and dinner menus feature vegetable-forward share plates, creative wood-fired pizzas, a nice selection of entrees, artisanal pies, and ice cream for dessert. In order to alleviate pay disparity and provide a livable wage for the crew doing the hard work behind the scenes, we give all our hourly kitchen staff 3.14% of all sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly address any customer service issues and refer to management when necessary
• Perform some cleaning duties at the service station, around the kitchen, and in the dining area
• Remove used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after diners are done eating
• Wipe water spills, food stains, and dirt from tables
• Replace cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners
• Refill napkins, salt and pepper shakers, and any other depleted condiments on the dining table
• Refill drinking glasses with water
• Bring out meal orders if waitstaff are busy
• Handle cleaning of the dining area at the close of day
• Assist customers with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and making recommendations
• Deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner
• Accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests
• Help the wait staff set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations, and napkins
• Occasionally check on customers to handle any impromptu requests or issues
