Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Seasonal Server for Fairways for the beautiful Interlocken Resort & Spa!

The Server Assistant role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations work to create guests for life, by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs. This position provides support to guests and associates serving guests throughout the food and beverage organization.

Salary for this position: $11.42/hour. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race. Part Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits. Responsibilities

• Knowledge of WOW service.
• Must have full familiarity with menus.
• Must have full knowledge of beverage offerings.
• Station set-up and breakdown/side-work
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Crocs manager.
• Proper sanitation of tables and silverware.
• Service to guests.
• Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained
• Proper uniform and grooming standards
• Phone procedures and policies
• Detailed Micros report
• Proper bank, pens, guest checks, lighter, wine key.
• Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel.
• Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 -2 years casual serving experience
• Must have wine, beer and spirits knowledge
• Food and Alcohol service certified 

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to be on your feet for up to eight hours

Working Environment:

• Must be flexible with schedules including weekends and holidays
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and other associates
• Must be able to work in an outdoor environment

• Serving Trays & Tray Jacks
• Flatware
• Micros Terminals
