Omni Hotels & Resorts is Hiring a Marketing Specialist Near Frisco, TX

Location

THE MODERN HOME OF AMERICAN GOLF

Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green. 

Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is tenacious, organized, detail oriented, results-driven and is responsible for supporting the tactical marketing initiatives to support the overall marketing strategy driving Omni PGA Frisco Resort, Fields Ranch golf course and PGA District awareness and revenue. This role will collaborate closely with all the PGA Frisco operational teams and marketing team members. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver, thrive under pressure, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

Social Media

  • Spearhead social media engagement for the Omni PGA Frisco Resort and PGA Frisco channels, ensuring compliance and collaboration with appropriate stakeholders. Ensure the cohesive storytelling of the resort’s offerings, experiences and unique positioning are pulled through across all sales and marketing touchpoints to consumers.
  • Collaborate with marketing manager on social media advertising budget, execution, timeline, and creative direction over the course of the year.
  • Support marketing reporting to measure KPIs for marketing strategies, campaigns and tactics on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Proactively identify areas for refinement/optimization in the social media advertising and content space, based on business needs and results.
  • Leverage the corporate social media brand team, team for maximum efficiency.
  • Support local traditional and social media influencer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholder partners on content gathering and collaborative partnerships to ensure that on-brand visual assets are curated and socialized across cross-functional teams.
  • Stay apprised of marketing best practices and make recommendations therein. Understand and know the competitive landscape across B2B and B2C segments.

Reputation Management

  • Monitor review sites for hotel and on-property outlets to provide timely responses across key platforms.
  • Provide feedback to departments and executive team on a regular basis to ensure service recovery and problem resolution.
  • Make recommendations on the best process to encourage reviews to external customer stakeholders.
  • Incorporate monthly recap on cross-platform position and quarterly deep-dive.

Resort Events Support

  • Support logistical execution of resort recreation events as needed – i.e. ideation, booking space, BEO detailing, oversight of setup, event execution.

Day-To-Day

  • Facilitate purchase order and invoice processing for marketing vendors and media partners.
  • Support creative processes as time permits.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: Degree in public relations or marketing, or similar is preferred. Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in hotel, resort or hospitality marketing. Experience managing social media content creation, graphic design, and event execution. Robust creative skills with the ability to balance strong communication skills (written, verbal, proofreading). Preferred skills: Previous hotel experience ideal – upper-upscale/luxury resort marketing a plus. Strong understanding of social media trends and management, as well as content gathering. Experience in creative development and robust organizational skills with a strong capacity to think outside the box. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
