Job Description

To be responsible for all tasks relating to cash handling and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Daily: Collect cash from all drop safes
• Daily: Verify cash drops balance
• Daily: Creates bank deposits and maintain back up
• Daily: Process Desktop check deposits
• Daily: Count and audit main safe and maintain proper tracking
• Issues banks and keys and maintains a list of issued house banks
• Uploads Bank Contracts into cash system
• Audit House Banks based on required schedule
• Place change orders with bank
• Issues change to associates
• Maintain a bank key inventory
• Keeps track of all cash variances and sends out cash short/over reports within SOP guidelines
• Send out a weekly cash exception report
• Train new associates on cash handling system
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet weekly deadlines
• Must be willing to work with a team and do other tasks as necessary
• Must have an aptitude to adjust to software systems that may be used throughout the Resort and Company.

Tools and Equipment:

• Computer, phone, photo-copying machine, filing cabinet, facsimile and office supplies as needed.

Working Environment:

• Interior of hotel, in normal office conditions.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is a must
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word software
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule
