Omni Family of Services of Ohio is looking for a trauma competent, quality-driven professional to join our amazing team as the Family Peer Support Specialist.
The Family Peer Support Specialist is a position that provides services to enable individuals and families to obtain access to needed medical, social, educational, and other support services as needed. The FPSS function can be generally described as advocating, linking & coordinating needed community based services for the client(s) and families served. The FPSS provides a wide array of educational, role modeling, parenting, problem solving, and individual, group and family services using the Omni Family of Ohio Core Strengths approach. This position will be a part of a paired family team as part of the intensive, in-home program for youth and families. The Family Peer Support Specialist is responsible for serving families with crisis diversion and skill building . Service occur entirely within the community and family homes. Collaboration with team members, and availability for crisis assistance and intervention is also required.
