CNC Machine Operator- 2nd shift
4/10 hour shift, Monday- Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays as needed
Salary: $20.50- 27.00 depending on experience- training on first shift then once trained moved to 2nd shift and offering $2.50/ hour shift differential. ALSO: Company offers great benefits to include a $2,500 sign on bonus!
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each job
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CNC machines
- Familiarity with lathe operations and logic controllers
- Knowledge of hand tools commonly used in machining operations
- Experience with CNC programming and Fanuc controls is a plus
- Previous experience operating stamping presses is a plus
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for operating machinery
