Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to join our team. You will be reporting directly to our Director of Operations. This is a great opportunity if you want to be a part of a growing organization with a small company feel. This is an in-office position, you must live within a commutable distance from Wichita. We are looking to hire someone quickly, so this opportunity won’t be around long!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise Assembly Technician team while maintaining tight production schedules
• Coordinate and communicate with team about production schedules, making work assignments and following up to ensure due dates are met
• Setup and operate a variety of assembly tools
• Sealing parts
• Drills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens subassemblies into structural assembly, using hand tools and Pneumatic tools.
• Installing hardware
• Track inventory to ensure proper number of parts for assembly
• Read blueprints and specs
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• 2 years experience managing Aerospace machine parts assembly
• Ability to read and understand complex work instructions, blueprints, and specs
• Experience with all types of assembly tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Teamwork and the ability to work with diverse people and groups is required
