• Design and analyze structures using software tools such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop structural designs that meet project requirements
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications
• Perform calculations to determine load capacities, stresses, and deflections
• Review and approve construction plans to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications
• Utilize software programs such as Bluebeam, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and CAD for drafting and design purposes
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices - Proficiency in software tools such as FEA, Bluebeam, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and CAD
• Structural engineering and licensed structural engineering more importantly.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
