Omitron Inc is Hiring a Joint Space Operations Planner Near Colorado, CO

Position Title: Joint Space Operations Planner (NSDC)
Position Description:
Serves as a mission planner for the National Space Defense Center (NSDC) Plans Division. Contributes to integrated space planning requirements supporting United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) mission objectives. Informs local leadership, exercise planners, and community at-large of future capability details and upcoming milestones. Articulates integrated mission processes and future ops requirements to Combatant Commands (COCOMs), program offices, tactical units and mission partners. Supports variety of user engagements, delivering feedback and status updates on behalf of NSDC leadership. Coordinates with NSDC operations divisions to ensure staff and crew are familiarized with emerging requirements and synchronized to execute Task Orders (TASKORDs). Develops new planning principles and concepts to optimize joint space mission objectives.

    • Tabletop Exercises (TTXs)
    • Initial/Critical Design Reviews (IDRs/CDRs)
    • Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs)
    • Test & evaluation events
    • Weekly/Bi-weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Working Groups (WGs)
  • Ability to inform local leadership, exercise planners, and community at-large of future capability details and upcoming milestones
  • Ability to author various formal planning documents to include:
    • Concept of Operations (CONOPs)
    • Concept of Employment (CONEMPs)
    • Operations Integration Capability Roadmaps
    • Tactical Unit Orders (Appendixes and Attachments)
    • Memorandum of Agreement/Understanding (MOAs/MOUs)
Education: Required - Bachelor's in relevant space or systems engineering field; Desired - Master's in relevant space or systems engineering field
Years of Experience: Required - 4 or more years of experience performing space operations planning (Space Planning Process); Desired - 4 or more years of experience performing orbital analysis, 4 or more years of experience conducting joint military planning (Joint Planning Process)
Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
Location: Schriever SFB, CO
Travel: 20%
