We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products through thorough inspection and review processes. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of First Article Inspection reports
- Collaborate with teams including CNC machinists, engineers, and quality assurance personnel resolving discrepancies or issues identified
- Perform detailed inspections of parts, components, and assemblies using different measurement tools and techniques
- Document the findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise language
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of FAI processes, AS9102 standard, and aerospace industry requirements
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies or non-conformities
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerances. Manual layouts on surface plate.
- Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
