QUAILIFICATION:
· 3-10 years experience in pre-litigation personal injury (not litigation, although some litigation experience is fine
· Bi-lingual (Spanish-English
· Carried a case load over 120-150 files at a time
· Understanding of medical terminology, how a chiropractor, pain management doctor, MRI, and other specialists work together on a case.
· Understanding of how to resolve property damage claims, health insurance liens
· Utilized an online Case management system
RESPOSIBILITIES:
· Work within a single team with a large amount of autonomy – you work hand in hand with your attorney – not a “supervisor
· Ability to lead a team of assistants – you’re not on your own
· Not a “churn and burn” or “billboard” law firm – no waiting until last minute and scrambling before statute, each case is handled professionally no matter what the value of the case is.
· There are no “departments” within the legal operations team – meaning it is your case from start to finish.
