We are currently seeking a Part-time, Direct Support Professional with the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities outlined below. NOTE: THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WITH THE FOLLOWING SHIFT OPPORTUNITIES.

• Weekdays Only, Day-shift: Required 2 days a week (Monday- Friday)
• Weekends Only, Day-shift: 7 am - 3 pm (Saturday and Sunday)
• Weekends Only, Evening - shift: 2 pm - 10 pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Duties:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs

- Assist with patient care, including caregiving, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)

- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure the safety of individuals

-Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals under your care

- Support individuals in community integration and participation in recreational

activities

- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and any incidents or

observations

Experience:

- Two (2) years of active caregiving

- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs preferred.

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Familiarity with dementia care, nursing home, or assisted living settings is a plus

- Experience in meal preparation and assisting with feeding

- Ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals who may have communication challenges

- Understanding of behavior management techniques and ability to implement them effectively

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals to appointments or community outings

License/Certification:

• Driver's License and transportation (Required):
• CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
• CMT- Certified Medication Technician (Required)
