Performance Pay, Paid Holidays & Company Vehicle

Installers are provided a company vehicle to get from our warehouse to and from job sites every day. Employees receive paid holidays and can earn Performance Pay and paid personal time!

The Position

Responsible for multiple tasks involving the installation of new residential & commercial garage doors & openers, replacement of residential & commercial garage doors and openers, and servicing residential & commercial garage doors and openers.

Responsibilities

  • Service and/or install residential & commercial garage doors using appropriate tools, hardware and equipment according to manufacturer's drawings and instructions.
  • Service and/or install residential & commercial garage door openers.
  • Perform service/installation on a wide range of products, including springs, hinges, openers, door sections.
  • Load and confirm that materials for each day's work are loaded completely and secured.
  • Maintain appropriate parts inventory on the vehicle to ensure that items are available for service/installation work.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year related installation or construction experience
  • Excellent communication skills while interacting with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills required. Ability to read and understand a tape measure and convert measurements; use a carpenter's level & laser level.
  • Willingness to learn products and processes.
  • Must have valid Florida Drivers License.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Repetitive standing, lifting, reaching, bending, climbing, & kneeling
  • Working on ladders at varying heights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
