We have Production Technician 2 positions with flexible schedule options to fit your life.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We make an extraordinary variety of packaging automation solutions for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, personal care and consumer goods industries. Our products help bring essential products safely and efficiently through the supply chain. As our Production Tech 2, you’ll be the one who creates these amazing machines. You’ll ensure all products are crafted with the utmost quality by:

  • Follow standard operating procedures and stay within job safety parameters
  • Prepare and assemble sub-assemblies to complete packaging automation systems using a variety of fixtures and various hand and power tools
  • Assemble and test parts/components efficiently by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Maintain quality standards and make adjustments when necessary to produce products within specifications
  • Communicate clearly with shift supervisors, as well as team members
  • Anticipate needed supplies and notify supervisor for placing and expediting material supply orders
  • Complete standard production and quality forms as needed

· Helps the Production Supervisor and Production Leads develop or revise standard operational and working practices.

· Consults with engineering personnel relative to modifications of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.

  • Ability to work in a team environment

· Utilizes and can mentor the Production Tech 1 in the Companies’ MRP system and Intranet to track and verify part availability. Demonstrates an understanding of parts lists and corresponding item numbers. Initiates corrective actions via the Engineering or Materials Department.

MUST-HAVES

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in manufacturing assembly with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Possess quality focus, sound judgment and decision making
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently

MORE DETAILS YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW

  • You’ll be based in our Exton, PA facility full-time
  • On-the-job training will be provided (we will help you become the Omega expert!)
  • You’ll report to the Production Supervisor
  • This is a manual labor position

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
